Sports Awards
Blackhall Childrens
Sports Committee annually award sports awards to individuals and groups within the local community. Last year approx
£4000 was awarded to deserving causes. Some of the groups which were helped include the Nursery, Playgroup, Scouts,
Guides, school football, cross country teams and many others.
Eligibility
Children and teenagers below the age of 18
are eligible provided they attend Blackhall Primary School or their primary residence is within the Blackhall catchment area.
Groups shall be eligible to apply when a minimum 75% of their membership falls within the above criteria.
Suitability
Projects
are considered with respect to sports or recreational activities. The projects may apply for funds based upon their requirement
to purchase equipment, for coaching or travel, or special projects for the purpose of carrying out these activities.

Applications
should be made in writing to a committee member. If you have any queries, please discuss with committee members.
All applications must be submitted no later than
17.00 hours on 31 March 2009.
Allocation
All applicants shall be notified in writing of the outcome of their submissions by 30 April 2009.
No correspondence shall be entered into regarding the committee's decision.
